Loren was born and raised in New Delhi, India, where she completed her schooling and undergraduate education. She has been working in primary education since 2003 when she started as a Teaching Assistant at the American Embassy School in New Delhi. Loren loved this experience so much that it inspired her to teach internationally. Later on, she moved to England and obtained her PGCE qualification. Loren has been living in Shanghai with her family since 2011. Before joining Wellington College, she taught at Nord Anglia International School, Pudong until 2018, when she decided to be a stay at home mum to her two little boys. Loren completed a BA (Hons) in English in 2001 from Delhi University and then obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from Lucknow University in India in 2003. Following this, she completed a long-distance MA in English qualification in 2005. After moving to England in 2006, she obtained an MA in Education from the University of Leeds in 2007 and completed her PGCE in Primary Education from Leeds Beckett University. Loren has worked in Early Years and Key Stage 1, having taught both year 1 and year 2 classes. Loren delights in spending quality time with her family, and they are passionate about building Lego creations at home. She also enjoys watching movies, listening to music and reading.
