Catherina Fasanmi-Jones

Catherina holds a joint honours degree in Spanish and Russian and a master’s degree in translation, with a specialism in medicine. After over a decade working for a successful business consultancy firm in London, Catherina found her calling in education and completed her PGCE in secondary modern foreign languages at the Institute of Education, UCL, London. She has worked across a range of primary and secondary schools in UK and taught Key Stages 1 to 5. She has developed and led MFL curriculums and was a key member of the university guidance team at her previous school. Catherina moved to Shanghai and joined Wellington College, having developed an affinity with China, its language and culture, after completing a language teaching course at East China Normal University.
