Victoria (Vicki) Doamekpor gained her Bsc (Hons) in computer science, mathematics and management at Lancaster University. Then Vicki went onto Manchester Metropolitan University where she obtained her PGCE in secondary ICT and business. Vicki has previously taught in the UK and the Netherlands at primary schools. Vicki hopes as a teacher to instil a love of learning in all her pupils by sharing her own passion with them. As a caring, compassionate, dedicated teacher, she challenges every one of them and provides experiences that stimulate curiosity, providing opportunities to ask questions, problem-solve and reach a higher level of knowledge. She provides pupils with opportunities to become confident, creative technological learners, equipped with an essential skill set that they can use to enrich and extend their learning. Having worked in international education for the past eight years, Vicki now feels very privileged to be joining Wellington College in Shanghai. Vicki is proud to be working at a school with such a wonderful ethos and history. She is looking forward to getting to know Shanghai and also intends to travel around as much of South East Asia as possible.
