Maxine's passion for teaching began at university while she was studying Consumer Sciences. Years of tutoring part-time while studying gave her valuable experience and insight before accepting her first teaching role in 2014. Since she started teaching Business Studies, she has been committed to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students' interest in learning and instilling a sense of self-worth among all pupils. Maxine takes pride in guiding her pupils to develop a love for learning and a desire to contribute to their community. After earning her bachelor's degree with distinction in Consumer Sciences, she went on to complete her Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at the University of Pretoria. When she is not teaching, you will find Maxine coaching netball.
