Starting university can sometimes feel like diving into the deep end. Having a lifeline can make all the difference. That is why a robust mentorship programme is central to We.Connect. New and upcoming graduates have access to a network of more than 5,500 business leaders and Old Wellingtonians from Wellington College China and Wellington College in the UK. Their life experience and insight are invaluable resources for anybody taking such an important step in their life. Pupils can link up with Old Wellingtonians from around the world for guidance and support on academic matters, navigating university life, and even the practicalities of relocating to a new country or city.  

Beyond university, We.Connect will help to connect Wellingtonians to excellent career opportunities. Graduates who are new to the job market can post their CVs. Old Wellingtonians in a position to hire can recruit from a pool of quality applicants. It is the perfect intersection of needs. The platform will also provide a forum where users can share career advice, provide interview preparation, and help new graduates craft CVs that get noticed.

Digital technology enables us to remain connected across continents and oceans, of course. But there is still no substitute for the real thing. As such, We.Connect will also help to bring our growing community of alumni closer together with a calendar of offline events throughout the year. New graduates will be able to expand their reach at Wellington networking events. Old Wellngtonians will have ample opportunities to reconnect with former classmates and teachers at our annual alumni gatherings and other social events.

The launch of We.Connect is an exciting new step for Wellington College China. It will empower our pupils with the resources they need to build a successful and fulfilling future.
