Senior SISAC Football Round Up

08 May 2018

It has been a busy season of senior football with four teams (boys and girls A and B) competing in the Senior SISAC football league. Both A teams began their season playing against SCIS, which saw the girls victorious with a 4-0 win and the boys losing 4-1.

The boys B team started their season against Dulwich and made a spirited comeback after trailing 4-1 at half time, finishing on the losing end of a 6-4 scoreline in this ten goal thriller of a match! The girls B team started their season against SAS Pudong, managing to hold their own in the first half but then conceded a few late goals and ended up losing 3-0.

The girls A then travelled to Dulwich and came up against a strong team, losing 4-0. However, they won 5-1 in the return match the following week. The girls B team played their second match against YCIS and a tightly fought game ended in a stalemate of 0-0. The boys A team got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Livingston and the girls A team recorded their third win of the season with a 6-1 victory over SMIC.

With twice weekly games running into next term and the SISAC finals fast approaching, it will be a busy next few weeks for our senior football teams.
