British schools league basketball

19 May 2016
British International School in Shanghai Wellington’s U.14 boys’ basketball team competed in the British Schools competition in Dulwich Suzhou on Saturday 14th May. This was the boy’s first tournament together as a squad and Coach Joel was very proud of their performance. Basketball is a growing sport in Wellington and we are keen to enter both the CISSA and SISAC leagues next year to give our students more exposure to the game. Everyone in the squad played well and they got better and better with each game. Speaking with a few of the squad members they clearly learnt a lot from the experience and are keen to continue to develop as a squad. Many congratulations to the whole squad on their performance and a special thank you to Maya for providing the photos.
