Following the success of last year’s Fayre, Wellington College International Shanghai was proud to hold its second Summer Festival on Saturday 28th May. Led by a committee comprising Friends of Wellington (FOW) and staff, this year’s Summer Festival was an amazing opportunity for the Wellington community to celebrate its pupils’ creativity and to share the Wellington spirit in a relaxing environment.
Summer Fayre 2015 Saturday 16 May --- 2pm – 5pm
The Summer Fayre is Wellington’s biggest family event of the year. In 2015, the Fayre emulated a typical British fete including a full programme of stage performances, children’s activities and a wonderful array of Tombola and Raffle Prizes. Around the field, children were able to participate in traditional British age-appropriate activities hosted by classroom in the Pre-Prep and Prep School as well as by House in the Senior School. Highlights of the event for both children and adults included the Fire Engine, Sponge-the-Teacher and Tug-of-War!Related Articles
