Finals weekend for U.9 and U.11 rugby squads

24 Mar 2016
Saturday the 19th March saw the U.9 and U.11 Rugby squads play in the end of season rugby finals at Dulwich College. It has been very pleasing to see how much the boys have progressed over the course of the season. Both teams play an attractive brand of rugby and have played well throughout all tournaments. The U.11 team captained by George Flint reached the semi finals and had a tough game against the host team Dulwich College. Unfortunately it was a step too far for the boys and they lost out to the better team on the day. I would like to congratulate all of the U.11 squad on their commitment and performances this season and on behalf of the boys a big thank you to Mr Mason for his time and efforts in coaching the team. The U.9 team Captained by Alex Lu also reached the semi finals and again we met Dulwich College in the Semi Finals. Unfortunately it was the same results and the boys went down 25-15. For the majority of the team this was their debut season, so they should be very pleased with their achievements. I would like to thank Mr James Perry at Dulwich for organising the season so well and also a special thanks to our parents for their continued support. Next up is the U.13 Season starting on the 23rd April. Alex Lloyd Director of Sport
