He worked in the Building Services sector in various roles including CAD Technician, Estimator, Design Engineer and ultimately Project Manager where he was responsible for the delivery of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installations for clients. After seven years in this field, Rory completed a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from Swansea Metropolitan University. Building positive relationships with young people and watching them develop and grow are two of the main reasons for his change of career.
