Head of Early Years

Yuki graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor’s degree in law. She also gained a master’s degree in education. Yuki became involved in early childhood education after graduation, and she has gained nearly 20 years of experience in teaching, management, and a solid understanding of Eastern and Western education philosophies in international and bilingual nurseries. As a founding leader at Hiba Academy Shanghai, she uses her expertise to provide personalised and holistic education for every pupil.

Her experience in leadership has enabled her to create a safe, fun and supportive learning environment where the awareness of responsibility and autonomy is encouraged among teachers and pupils. She believes that building mutual trust and respect between pupils, parents, and colleagues is at the heart of an inspiring early childhood education. Only by promoting exploration, active learning, creativity and critical thinking can we support our children to grow up to become effective learners.
