FOW SPACE: Celebrating 10 Years of Community Magic

Once again, I am amazed by the power of the Friends of Wellington community. With the support of the entire community, the FOW SPACE has—over the past several months—hosted countless parents, families, and friends through a variety of activities, talks, and meaningful conversations.
This initiative, which originated from a conversation at our FOW Core Committee dinner last June, embodies a shared vision for a vibrant community hub. Designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and excellence, the FOW SPACE is a 10th-anniversary gift from the Friends of Wellington and the school to our community—a place where everyone can Enter, Enjoy, and Excel.
At the heart of FOW SPACE lies a cozy coffee nook, a welcoming retreat where parents can unwind with a steaming cup of coffee while connecting with fellow community members. This space is not just for a quick caffeine fix; it’s a hub for casual conversations, spontaneous meetups, and the kind of relaxed interactions that strengthen our community bonds.
FOW SPACE also features a unique second-hand and souvenir area, where uniforms and books that need new homes find their way into the hands of those who will cherish them. This space is a treasure trove for those looking to give items a second life or to find that perfect Wellington keepsake or gift. It’s a place where memories are passed on, and where the spirit of reuse and sustainability thrives.
